QT Team QT Team is intended for girls and boys ages 5 and younger.
We call Humboldt's youngest team our 'QT's because they are just that: Too Cute. We found ourselves calling them our 'cuties' for so long that the title of QT just stuck and seems to fit. Our QT Team has won several National Championships since 1997.
QTs practice on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-6 pm. They have a special tumbling class on Saturdays at 1:00 just for them. Our coaching staff is very patient with this age group and teach in short segments, to better keep optimal interest level for this age group. Our QT team members will have tumbling, stunts, jumps and dance incorporated into their competition routine. Typically our QT team will perform locally and at events in the San Francisco Bay area and Portland. Age for all Humboldt Cheer Company Teams is the age of the participant on May 31, 2007.
