Humboldt Cheer Companty is a national-contending cheer gym which services the Pacific Northwest. This all-star cheerleading program offers students throughout Humboldt, Del Norte, Curry, Trinity and Mendecino Counties team tumbling, stunting, all-star dance and gymnastics training to High School and Middle School kids from the ages of 4-18 years old. Humboldt cheerleaders train 12 months out of the year. Tryouts for the competitive cheer teams typically take place in the springtime.

Teresa Creech and the Humboldt team opened the Eureka, California gym in 1997 because they saw the need for someone to lead the industry of competitive cheerleading in Northern California as well as in the entire Pacific Northwest. Humboldt is not only one of the best competitive cheer programs to be found on the west coast, but also one of the best programs in the nation! New and exciting opportunities in all-star cheerleading and all-star dance are offered for all who become involved.

Humboldt Cheer Gym features a 42' x 42' cheer spring floor, and a 20' tumbletrak connected to a 16' x 8' resi pit. Two full walls of our spring floor have oversized mirrors.  We have a gymnastics room complete with overhead spotting rigging and a competition size trampoline.  Our weight room is open to team members and their parents, as is our tanning bed.  The crew at Humboldt Cheer Gym is committed to their all-star cheerleading program, and to all their awesome cheerleaders!

To Teresa and the Humboldt staff, the most important part of their job is the role they have in shaping the futures of their kids. They are highly aware of the active role they can play in helping their students reach their cheerleading dreams and goals!  We make it our goal to be the best that we can be - on and off the floor! We strive to use innovative coaching methods, and to highlight each cheerleader's ability and personality in our choreography. 2007-08 Teams

 

Level 1- QT Cheer Team

Requirements: 5 years old and younger - no tumbling requirement

 

Level 2 - Junior Cheer Team

Requirements: 11 years old and younger - no tumbling requirement

 

Level 2/3 - All-Girl Cheer Team

Requirements: 18 years old and younger - no tumbling requirement.

 

Level 4/5 - Senior Coed Cheer Team

Requirements: 18 years old and younger - Standing Backhandspring, Round-Off Tuck, Toe-touch-Backhandspring, approved dance and stunt skills.

Junior Hip Hop Team

Requirements: 11 years old and younger.

 

Senior Hip Hop Team

Requirements: 18 years old and younger.
